Scarborough Methodist Luncheon Club

Please find attached the 2018/19 Methodist Luncheon Club programme.  The Club will meet usually on the third Wednesday in the month October to April and more members are required and will be most welcome.   Any of the Officers listed on the programme will be able to give more details.

The Luncheon Club meet at The Delmont Hotel, Blenheim Terrace, Scarborough for lunch at 12:45 pm prompt.  The Annual Subscription of £5.00 for 2018-2019 Session is payable at the first Luncheon.

Walkers Service

 We will be holding our Autumn Walkers Service this Sunday 14th October at 2:30 pm at Littlebeck Chapel. There will be a service led by Mr Robert Ventress and the local congregation followed by a walk in the Littlebeck Valley. All are welcome.

MHA Coffee Morning: Northstead Methodist Church

Priceholme Methodist Home for the Aged are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 13th October from 10:00 am 12:00 noon at Northstead Methodist Church, Givendale Road, Scarborough.  There will be Coffee, Tea, Cakes, Jewellery Stall, Bring and Buy and Other stalls as well as Entertainment.  Please spread the word and come along and join us.

Holy Habits: Service

‘Fruitfulness on the Frontline’ is an 8 week course exploring where and how we can serve our communities as a Holy Habit.  This is being held at Burniston Methodist Church on Tuesday’s at 7:00 pm from 2nd October to 20th November.

Harvest Home: Littlebeck Chapel

You are invited to join us for our Harvest Home Service on Monday 1st October at 7:00 pm at Littlebeck Chapel. The speaker will be Rev David Wilbourne, author of “Shepherd of Another Flock”. He spent most of his ministry in Yorkshire and was Vicar of Helmsley for twelve years and a canon of York Minister. Since 2009 he has served as a Bishop in Cardiff and the South Wales Valleys, alongside the Archbishop of Wales. He now lives near Scarborough. If you want to hear more come along and meet him! The service will be followed by the sale of any harvest produce for “All We Can” and then a supper. All are welcome.
