On Saturday 13th February, Margaret Woodcock, organist for over 80 years in both Methodist chapels in Burton Fleming was called home to be with her Lord. The service of thanksgiving is to be held on Wednesday 2nd March at 12.00 noon at the Methodist Chapel to which all are invited.
Her forthright attitude hid a deep faith, nurtured by daily study and deep discussion, unconditional hospitality and a love of Jesus that she encouraged all to know for themselves. She has left a deep and lasting space in many lives that will be impossible to fill. We give thanks to God for her.

Rev Jacky Hale is an experienced storyteller having undertaken training both for secular storytelling and in retelling the Christian story for all ages. She has recently added Godly Play to her library of gifts too.
In this day at Cross Hill, it is hoped that that those who have experience in storytelling, alongside with those who wonder if they have this gift, may experience new ways, renewed confidence and be challenged at how accessible story telling is as a way to share our faith.
So whether you are a leader of worship, Junior Church leader, church organisation leader or group speaker, along with grandparents, parents and other family members BUT especially as a Christian, this day is for you. Come along and have fun!
