The Annual Hospice Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday 25th September 3:00 pm at St Columba’s Anglican Church, Dean Road, Scarborough.
The service will be led by Christine Herbert, Hospice Spiritual Care Co-ordinator. The speaker will be Rev Brian Fitzpatrick Hospice Volunteer Chaplain and Founder Trustee of Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
This is an opportunity to remember and to give thanks for the lives of people who have died during the past year. Invitations have been sent to families known to the hospice, but the Remembrance Service is open to anyone who may wish to remember someone. Light refreshments will be served after the service.
The Dalesmen Singers Male Voice Choir are appearing again at the Seamer Methodist
Church on Saturday 24th September 2016 at 7:30 pm. Pay at the door (£6 includes light supper).
A fundraising coffee morning will be held on Saturday 17th September from 10:00 am to 11:30 am to include; cake, Bric a Brac and a greetings card stalls. There will also be an opportunity to buy fair trade goods.
Please note that this service will be led by Rev Jane Carter and starts at 10:30 am followed by tea and coffee and chat.

Saturday 17th September is the first of this year’s Saturday lunches at Northstead. Coffee served from 11:00 am and quiche, salad and puddings from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm; there will be cake and Fairtrade stalls.
The Men’s Forum is held at Emmanuel St John’s Church and the next meeting is on Wednesday 14th September at 7:30 pm and the speaker will be Rev Nigel Spencer.
A coffee morning is being held on Saturday 10th September from 10: 00 am at Priceholme MHA, Givendale Road, Scarborough.
The coffee morning is in Aid Of St Catherine’s Hospice and there will be entertainment by ‘Senior Moments’, a cake stall, bric a brac, tombola and of course refreshments.
