Sunday worship: 10.30am
Minister Revd Denise Free
A traditionally built small village chapel situated to the North East of Seamer village but also serves the nearby communities of Crossgates and Irton. We have a regular worshipping congregation which often includes the residents of a small county run home for adults with severe disabilities. We enjoy running a monthly coffee morning and this is popular amongst the residents of a nearby sheltered housing scheme. After each coffee morning, we hold a short prayer meeting during which our full prayer request book is read out. During the summer months we hold concerts to help raise funds to maintain our building. During the week, a pre-school playgroup make full use of our premises.
Our shorter prayer book, read out at morning service, includes requests for payers for those residents of the villages that we are aware of having concerns and worries. We would ask you for your prayers for all the residents of the three villages we serve.
