ESJ has been an LEP church for about 20 years with Methodist and United Reformed backgrounds. Currently, following the departure of our minister Revd Jason McCullagh, we are in vacancy without ministerial oversight. Sunday services are taken by retired URC ministers and preachers from the Methodist circuit plan
We have modern, versatile premises which are used for varied church activities catering for children( Sunday Club Plus, Parents’ and Toddlers’) and older people ; uniformed groups; and provide a venue for several community projects. Please pray that we may be led to discern God’s plan for us as we seek to serve him in the Falsgrave area of Scarborough.
