At Burniston Methodist Church, we are having a day conference entitled ‘Healing in the Body’ on Saturday 9th March from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is a day of teaching about healing led by Bishop Graham Dow (retired bishop of Carlisle).
On Thursday 14th February at 7:30 pm there will be a Valentine’s Quiz in aid of Favela Brass. Children in Rio’s low-income neighbourhoods rarely have the opportunity to learn to play brass instruments Favela Brass, founded in 2014 by British trumpet player Tom Ashe, provides 36 youngsters, aged 4-16, with free music lessons three times a week and an instrument to practice on.
The next Circuit Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 7:00 pm at Queen Street Methodist Church followed by refreshments. It is an opportunity for us to unite in prayer as a circuit, all are welcome.

Understanding the New Testament
& Reading the Bible today
On Saturday 30th March from 10:30 am – Noon @ Snainton Methodist Church the Rev Dr David Wood will lead a Study Session. Holy Christ. A look at holy habits in the teaching of Jesus, especially in Luke.
On Sunday 10th February at 6:30 pm the Song & Story Service will be led by Rev Graham Morgan and will be based on Psalm 23. All are welcome!
Bacon Butties and Puddings on Saturday 9th February at Northstead Methodist Church from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, Coffee served from 11:00 am, lunches from 11:30 am. Cake and Fairtrade stalls.
Hawsker Methodist Church will be offering our Tea on the Green again after our Christmas break. This is a chance to meet up with friends old and new and to enjoy Fairtrade tea and coffee and homemade cake. We will be there from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Tuesday 29thJanuary.
