Burniston Methodist Church: Life Explored

Life Explored is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life in a friendly, relaxed environment, and to learn how Christianity responds to those questions. It is a FREE seven session series featuring a meal followed by a combination of short films shot around the world and interactive discussions. It’s an exposé of the little gods that promise us so much happiness, yet deliver so little. As it explores the Bible story (creation, fall, redemption, new creation), Life Explored shows how our deepest desires for happiness can only be satisfied in one person, Jesus Christ. The best gift God can give us is himself.

Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to know anything about Christianity or the Bible. You won’t be asked to read aloud, pray or sing and you can ask any question you want, or just listen. Our aim is to help people investigate Christianity in a relaxed and accessible way and we encourage guests to come with all of their questions. All opini
