Priceholme Methodist Home for the Aged are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 13th October from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at Northstead Methodist Church, Givendale Road, Scarborough. There will be Coffee, Tea, Cakes, Jewellery Stall, Bring and Buy and Other stalls as well as Entertainment. Please spread the word and come along and join us.
‘Fruitfulness on the Frontline’ is an 8 week course exploring where and how we can serve our communities as a Holy Habit. This is being held at Burniston Methodist Church on Tuesday’s at 7:00 pm from 2nd October to 20th November.

You are invited to join us for our Harvest Home Service on Monday 1st October at 7:00 pm at Littlebeck Chapel. The speaker will be Rev David Wilbourne, author of “Shepherd of Another Flock”. He spent most of his ministry in Yorkshire and was Vicar of Helmsley for twelve years and a canon of York Minister. Since 2009 he has served as a Bishop in Cardiff and the South Wales Valleys, alongside the Archbishop of Wales. He now lives near Scarborough. If you want to hear more come along and meet him! The service will be followed by the sale of any harvest produce for “All We Can” and then a supper. All are welcome.
An opportunity to meet with others from around the circuit to pray for our churches and circuit.
Wednesday 24th October at South Cliff Methodist Church. Holy Communion and Prayer at 9:45 am followed by refreshments.
The coffee morning team are busy organising this famous town centre churches annual event. On Wednesday October 10th 2018 at The Palm Court Hotel from 10.30am until noon.
Come and buy our delicious homemade cakes and products and a cup of coffee or tea. There will also be a sale of good quality books, high class bric-a-brac, a tombola and raffle. Everyone is welcome. Please invite your friends to contribute and come and join us yourself.

On Saturday 6th October from 10:00 am – 11:30 am Scalby Methodist Church are hosting a coffee morning in support of ‘Macmillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’. There will be Stalls: Cakes, Books, Fairtrade.
Thursday 27th September 2018 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Burniston Methodist Church. To include an opportunity to share insights gained from the prayer experiences of the last 3 months, to pray together and to share in a short act of worship led by ‘The Crofters’ Team’. Refreshments will be served.
Returning after a summer break, Tea on the Green at Hawsker Methodist Church on Tuesday 25th September from 2:00 pm ’til 4:00 pm. Fair Trade tea and coffee, homemade cakes and good company. Come and see how the new garden is getting on.
Come and join us for a prayer walk around our area on Wednesday 5th September 2018. Meet at St Andrew’s URC at 2:00 pm we will then walk around the area praying before returning to St Andrew’s for refreshments.
