ECG 2022: Yesterday: Today: Forever – Celebrating God’s faithfulness

The theme for 2022 celebrates that, in the constantly changing world, we can be certain of one thing – God never changes.

This year marks 14 years of ECG’s ministry.  This will be the final year of ECG conferences in the way we have known them.  As this era comes to a close and we look to the future, rejoicing in God’s faithfulness over the past years and certain that he will be with us as we journey on in to a new adventure.  Will you join us?

Come and be inspired, renewed, refreshed.  Come and hear God’s voice and find a new vision foryourself and your church.  Come and be equipped to make a difference.

19th – 24th April 2022 booking is now open. There is also advice on how to carry over bookings from the previous two years. Follow the link here: ECG Events

Daily Online Meditations for Holy Week

The District is co-ordinating a series of daily online meditation videos for Monday to Saturday of Holy Week. Working in collaboration with people across different circuits, these 15-20 min daily videos will be something that hopefully can supplement local initiatives and be used by circuits/churches for content on social media, websites, mid-week groups, etc. or just as a shareable link to complement what you’re doing. As with all district online material, you’re welcome to signpost people to the district versions which will be available on social media, or take and use the content locally which will be available for download in advance. Holy Week Videos 2022 – Yorkshire North & East Methodist District (

The Drey at Westborough

It is an exciting time here at 46th Westborough Scout Group as after Easter we will be opening a brand-new section for children aged 4 to 6 years. Fun and excitement for younger years, Squirrels is part of plan to expand access to scouting for younger children and here at Westborough we will be leading the way as a pilot section.

It’s the first time in 35 years that the Scout movement has expanded its sections, as a group we led the way then and have never looked back since.

At this stage we want to see who would be interested with a view to our first meetings starting after Easter on a Thursday evening meeting at Westborough, from about 16.30 to 17.30

More information is attached but if you child is interested then contact me with their details on: or call me on 07703 653087
