Scalby Methodist Church are holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 1st September from 10:00 am to11:30 am in Support of Christmas Shoebox Appeal. There will be stalls: cakes, books and Fair Trade.

Robin Hood’s Bay Methodist Church are holding a Table Top Sale on Saturday 25th August from 10:00 am.
On Sunday 19th August morning worship (10:30 am) at Northstead will be led by Rev Graham Sturdy from Hobart, Tasmania, via Skype (providing the connection holds up!).
It is also hoped that after the service there will be an opportunity for people to talk with Graham + Christine. Anyone from the circuit who would like to join us will be very welcome.
Snainton Methodist Church are offering an opportunity to join them for a Prayer Walk on Wednesday 29th August as a Holy Habit event.
Meet at Snainton Methodist Church on Wednesday 29th August at 12:30 pm for a soup and cake lunch to be followed at about 1:30 pm by a guided pray walk around the village, stopping at places of leisure, worship, learning, work and remembrance.
Taking in the wonderful views of God’s creation along the way before finishing back at church for refreshments. Those unable to walk are invited to join in a concurrent activity in the church led by Rita Alden.
A beach pilgrimage on Saturday 11th August. Meet at Filey Methodist Church at 9:30 am for coffee. A walk to Hunmanby Gap and return. Come for all or come for part.
A meditation on prayer on Wednesday 15th August at 6:30 pm at Filey Methodist Church led by Rev Dr Kevin Ridd. Followed by a ‘bring and share’ supper.
A Prayer walk on Tuesday 21st August at 1:30 pm. Meet at bottom entrance to Wharfedale estate (nearest to railway crossing). Afternoon tea to follow.
