The Angels Christmas Service

From Churches Together in Scarborough

The Angels Christmas Service – 12 December – 6.30pm for 7.00pm – The Summit, St Nicholas Street.

For a few years now we have had a special contemporary Christmas service called ‘Christmas for those who don’t come to Church’, organised by students and young adults and celebrating the work of the Street & Youth Angels. It is service designed to be a little different from all the others we get involved in at Christmas, with a definite contemporary feel. While having a ‘young’ emphasis – we particularly invite students and those involved with Youth Angels for example – it’s open to everyone, all the family, and is a great event to bring friends along too. We are hoping that many of the wonderful volunteers who are part of the Angels team will be there too.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Scarborough will be in attendance, with the Mayor giving a short word of thanks for the work of the Angels (Street & Youth, with Community starting in the New Year) just before we receive the offering, which will go to the work of the Angels.

A happy and peaceful Christmas to you all, God bless
